Vandaag zijn in het Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles de nominaties voor de 83e Golden Globe Awards 2026 bekendgemaakt. Het aftellen kan nu echt beginnen: in de nacht van zondag 11 op maandag 12 januari om 02.00 uur Nederlandse tijd is de prestigieuze Golden Globes-uitreiking exclusief live te zien op FilmBox. De awardshow telt dit jaar 28 categorieën, verdeeld over films en series. Met de Emmy-genomineerde Nikki Glaser als host zijn de kijkers verzekerd van een nacht vol scherpe humor en entertainment.
One Battle After Another behoort met maar liefst negen nominaties tot de topfavorieten. Sentimental Value wist acht nominaties te bemachtigen, Sinnerskreeg er zeven en Hamnetvolgde met zes nominaties. Ook bij de series zijn er duidelijke kanshebbers: The White Lotus leidt de nominaties, met daarnaast sterke posities voor series als Severanceen Only Murders in the Building.
